- Are credit card transactions safe?
We guarantee that every transaction you make at toyandparty.ca will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your credit card as a result of shopping at toyandparty.com.
When you provide us with any personal information - your name, address, e-mail and credit card number - it’s done on a secure server. One of today’s most advanced security systems - Secure Socket Layers (SSL) - encrypts all information you provide before sending it to our own server. Only when it reaches the toyandparty.com servers is your information decrypted.
In addition when you process your credit card with toyandparty.ca your card number is divided into two sets of numbers and we only store 8 of the digits on our server. The other 8 digits, along with your CCV code are sent directly to our warehouse for processing – they are not stored on our server and cannot be used again.
If you wish not to use a secure server connection while shopping at toyandparty.ca, you may choose to give us your credit card number by phone or fax instead of the World Wide Web. - How do I return something to toyandparty.com?
We take great care to insure every order is shipped as ordered, but if an incorrect item is shipped, we will immediately send a replacement product.
Unopened non-seasonal party goods may be returned for credit as long as it is still a current item in our catalogue. All sales are final on sale, seasonal and wearable products (including costumes, hats, makeup, etc).
It is important to contact our Customer Service Department at support@toyandparty.com as you will need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return. A customer service individual will respond promptly with a return confirmation message and (if necessary) shipment instructions for returning the item.
Except in the case of our error, you are responsible for return shipping costs and any damage that happens during shipping from you to our warehouse.

- How can I check the status of my order?
When you place your order it is sent immediately to our warehouse. Depending on how busy we are you should receive an email confirmation of your order that it is in processing within 24-hours. When shipped you will receive another email confirming shipment and including a tracking number for Canada Post. You can check your tracking number directly at the Canada Post website at www.canadapost.ca.

- How much does shipping cost?
We ship to Canada and the USA only.
Toyandparty.com uses Canada Post Xpresspost as its basic shipping method in Canada. For the same low price as Expedited Parcel, shipments are now faster, more reliable and traceable. Orders shipped by Xpresspost can only be left in what is deemed to be a secure location. If no one is available to accept the package, and if a secure drop-off location is not available, then a card will be left informing you that the package is waiting to be picked up at the nearest Canada Post office. To the U.S.A. we are using Canada Post’s ‘Small Package to the USA’ service. While generally a quick method of shipment clearing customs can sometimes take 2-3 weeks. Please make sure you leave plenty of time when you order for shipping to the U.S.A.We are currently offering a flat rate shipping price regardless of order size. In Canada - $8.99, to the U.S.A. - $15.00 (Canadian funds). For local customers there is also a ‘Pickup in Store’ option with no shipping fees.

- Does toyandparty.com apply sales tax?
Like all retailers in Canada we must collect and submit Sales Tax.
The 6% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is applicable on all sales shipped anywhere in Canada.
A 8% Provincial Sales Tax is only collected in Ontario as that is the province our offices are located in. Other provinces do not have to pay us provincial taxes, and in the case of provinces using the HST only the 6% GST portion will apply.
No taxes are applicable on shipments to the USA.
